Ephesus

During the half day Ephesus tour our first stop will be the Ephesus ancient city. The Ephesus visit together with your local Ephesus guide will be a walking tour taking you throughout one of the most surprising excavations in the world. You will see the Odeon,The Fountain of Trajan, Terrace houses, the baths of Scholastika, the temple of Hadrian and magnificient Celsius library . The library is adorned with columns and statues. The Grand Theater, where Saint Paul preached, is a huge theater with a capacity of 24,000 seats. You will return to the bus through the Arcadian Way, where Mark Anthony and Cleopatra once rode in procession. The visit of Ephesus city will take nearly 2 hours.

Priene

Than we will drive to Priene… Admire the spectacular views of Priene, which overlooks the Meander River. Explore the ancient ruins of Miletos near the Aegean Sea. Visit the Temple of Apollo in Didyma. Following your pick-up from the port, the tour begins in the city of Priene. This 2,500-year-old Ionian city was among the first to be planned with a grid system of streets. Set dramatically at the foot of a mountain side, Priene overlooks the Meander River.

Ruins of Miletos

The tour then moves onto the ruins of Miletos, near the Aegean Sea. Here you can explore the ancient theatre, built around the 4th century BC, which once accommodated more than 15,000 spectators. You will also visit the well-preserved Bath of Faustina ,named after the wife of Marcus Aurelius who ordered its construction. After the tour you will be transferred back to your cruise ship.
