Kusadasi Village Tour

Kusadasi is probably best known for its close proximity to Ephesus, and its vibrant seafront and port. It is however an excellent location for discovering inland gems. The picturesque village of Sirince is one of those gems! This quaint village is only 30 km away from Kusadasi,it is built on a slope overlooking Ephesus plain and surrounded by vast orchards and olive groves. With its old stone houses, cobblestone streets and lively town square, Sirince, is a snapshot from the 19th century.

After visiting the church and the mosque of the village you are welcomed by a wine house where you can sample famous fruit wines of the region.To many to taste in one session you may be tempted to buy some for later. After lunch you get free time to wander around this beautiful village and meet its friendly locals. Talking to locals of Sirince is inevitable, as most members of the village are craftsman and they all seem to be manufacturing something. Ladies working on their embroidery and lacework, men woodcarving and younger ones selling juices of newly picked fruits. After the tour we return you safely to your hotel or the port.
