After being welcomed and ushered by the chief of the village through the streets with excited local children shouting “Hello” s, we will be hosted by a local family in their traditional house. Here hospitality abounds amidst their humble yet proud lives. Bodrum countryside still produces a considerable amount of olives and tangerines and is rightfully proud of the authentic Milas carpets and kilims woven in its villages and hamlets. A short and informative demonstration of carpets and kilims woven by village women ends this unforgettable day.
